I wrote a very positive review for you on Trip Advisor. Again, we loved Linda. She was the best part of the trip.  We quickly realized that having her as a guide meant more than just guidance and information, but also having a wonderful trip companion. Everything was more fun and more interesting with her along. She did a great job of matching the trip activities to our interests.

The food was all very good. Our favorite eating experience was the home cooking at the family's home. It was a wonderful cultural experience in a beautiful setting with delicious food and a kind family.

Both hotels were really nice and we would happily stay at either one again. The staffs at the Yangshuo River Lodge were especially kind, friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with. It was the best hotel that we stayed in in China.

The content of the Guangzhou city tour was good, but the guide wasn't as good. I think that perhaps he wasn't very interested in the sights.
