• Day 1: Visit Daxu Ancient Town in the morning, climb the Diecai Hill for great views of Guilin downtown area, visit Reed Flute Cave and wander the 4 lakes area.
• Day 2: Drive 2 hours to Longji. Make bamboo tube rice in a local family and hike in the Zhuang Village and terraced rice fields in the afternoon. Drive back to Guilin.
• Day 3: Take a 4-hour Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. Explore Yangshuo countryside by bike or electric scooter.
