6 Days Sichuan Photography Tour

Upon your arrival at Chengdu airport, you will find your name sign held by our Chengdu guide at the arrival hall. The guide will show you to the parking lot to find the driver and help you do the hotel check-in. Enjoy your first night in Chengdu on your own.

Get up early to catch the romantic encounter with the adorable creatures –giant pandas at Chengdu Panda Breeding Research Center. Take as many photos as you want when you see them in the open enclosure eating away and ambling around.

After lunch, explore the typical buildings in ancient Qing style, taste the Chengdu local snacks, experience the slow pace of life at Kuanzhai Lane.

People’s Park is popular among the locals as they can enjoy the fresh air and do exercises there. You could see various local activities here, like Taichi, dancing, playing mahjong, playing musical instruments and tea tasting etc. Slow down your pace, relax in a local tea shop and order a pot of tea like a local.

Note: 

• Giant pandas are more active in the early morning. Therefore, getting up early and depart for the panda base is high suggested. Arrival at 8:00 or 8:30 is preferred.
• If you come to visit the panda base in August to November, you will have a great chance to see the baby panda.

Jiuzhaigou is arranged in the Y shape with a total length of over 50 km and consists of three main valleys, called Shuzheng Valley (main gully), Zechawa Valley (left gully), Rize Valley (right gully). Today you will visit 2 of them. Strat from Shuzheng Valley, where you will see the Shuzheng Lake, Rhinoceros Lake and Nuorilang Waterfall.

After lunch, visit the south-west Rize Valley, where you will see the Bamboo Lake, Panda Lake, Five Flower Lake, Pearl Shoal and Mirror Lake.

Jiuzhaigou Valley

This is your second day in the park. The whole day tour starts from Zechawa Valley, which includes Long Lake and Five Color Pond. Watch a variety of plants and animal species at Zharu Valley before leaving the park.

Jiuzhaigou Valley

After breakfast, drive about 2.5 hours from Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area to Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area. It is famous for its breathtakingly beautiful travertine landscape. Cable car is arranged to save energy and time. 

After the tour, the guide and driver will take you to the airport in Huanglong for the flight back to Chengdu.
