Thank you again for such a wonderful trip to China!! It was everything we hoped it would be, especially the visit to Anna's orphanage in Shihezi. All of our guides were absolutely great, but Sammy our guide in Urumqi was especially wonderful and her personality, enthusiasm, and ability to translate quickly enhanced our visit to the orphanage.

We would like to provide one bit of feedback on our hotel in Beijing, the Kingrand. The room was just fine and plenty large enough for our family, but I would not rate the hotel as an overall 5 star hotel. It seemed almost abandoned, the food selection for morning breakfast was relatively limited, and the air conditioning did not work which forced us to open windows. We usually like fresh air, but mosquitos filled our room through the window which had no screen and thus made for an unpleasant night for the kids. Overall I would not rate that hotel at 5 stars and recommend that you not book it for any of your future tours.

Again, our tour was wonderful so please don’t take this criticism as a sign that we are unhappy, because that is far from the truth. We will highly recommend you to any of our friends who express a desire to visit China!

Attached are some photos. Most are self-explanatory, but the first one is Anna meeting her foster mother’s daughter in-law when we first arrived at the orphanage. It was a sweet reunion!
