We recently completed a 12 day tour of China and it was an amazing experience. We went to Beijing, Xi’an, Guilin, Yangshuo, Shanghai and Tongli. China Culture Tour was amazing to work with and I highly recommend working with them. I did some research on different travel companies and narrowed down to China Culture Tour and another company. Lydia from China Culture Tour was so responsive so I went with them and they did not disappoint at all. She created a sample itinerary and I customized it to my own preferences and she was so easy to work with. We went through 8 different drafts.

We are 2 families, both with 9 and 12 year olds. Lydia found great hotels for us to stay and planned it out so well for us. Our tour guides were all great - Eric in Beijing, Amy in Xi’an, and Candy in Shanghai. The best of the guides was Linda in Guilin, who took us around like you would take your own family around. She is so enthusiastic, genuine, knowledgeable and always spot on. If visiting Guilin, I would recommend her as your guide. Kudos for such a great tour company. If you are planning to visit China and planning on joining a tour, I highly recommend this one - there’s no shopping agenda and you can travel as a private group. Check the costs, because I found that they are not that different than if you joined a large group tour.
