We have now landed back in Italy and would like to thank you and the team for the organization of the Tour. Overall we had a great time and all went smoothly: good job!
In our questionnaires we have provided suggestions for further improvement; may I summarize the key points hoping that this will be of help to future tourists and to China Culture Tour to offer even better services going forward:
ChengduTop visits: * Lhasa and Potala * Shuhe village (Lijiang) * Pingyao * Yung gang caves * The Terracotta Soldiers and museum * The Yak meadows on Jade Dragon Mountain
Disappointing visits: * Datong city * Xian walls * Leaping tiger gorge
Best hotels: * Jing's residence (great!) * Red wall garden
Disappointing hotels: * Holiday Inn Datong (terrible, very dirty, bad food) * Banyan Tree Lijiang (not the standard you would expect from such a pricy and reputable chain)

Some other areas for improvement:
* Standard of lunch could be better (frequently mediocre food, slow service and restaurants not always clean: Only exceptions: Chengdu and Lijiang where lunches were perfect) * Transfers: consider providing cold water during transportation.
Guides: Evan in Chengdu has been the best guide of the tour. Beyond having a very good command of the English language, he has been extremely attentive, personable, proactive, organized and fun! He really stands out of the crowd and deserves recognition for the outstanding job done. I would appreciate if you can share this note with the Boss of Evan, our guide in Chengdu.
BeijingTo conclude, you personally deserve our special thanks: you have been most helpful and proactive throughout the planning of our tour and during the tour itself. It is a pity that we could not meet in person at some point but I should certainly consider China Culture Tour for future visits to China and recommend your services to friends.
