The Panda Breeding Center was the most memorable attraction for us.  Our guide helped us retrieve our iPhone from the panda enclosure by getting the keeper to do it.

William who cared for us like his Auntie and Uncle. He is very bright and knew the history of China well and lots of dynasties. Linda in Guilin was very personable and Grace & Linda who arranged a birthday party & cake for me.

Sofitel Peoples Legends Grand Hotel in Xi’an is the best. They gave us a free upgrade. Very elegant room. The Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai was a close 2nd.

For the train travel, the 1st class was good but would have preferred business class.
