We loved all three of our tour guides. They were all attentive, knowledgeable, great with our kids, and accommodating. They were always there ahead of our scheduled meeting times to let us know they were there and ready for us when we were. They never rushed us, and we appreciated that. They were all great.

The hotels were fine. The hotel in Beijing smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. We appreciated the breakfasts in each hotel. All were in a good location and all were clean.

The lunches included with our tours were all excellent. The best restaurant was in Beijing on the first day. Jindingxuan Dim Sum restaurant was our favorite, but all were good. Our guide in Beijing, Tom, took us for Peking Duck on our last day. It was not on the itinerary, but we had time and we wanted to try it.

Don't miss the slide down from the Great Wall. Great fun! Also, we enjoyed the acrobatics show in Beijing, which wasn't part of our original package.

It was very comfortable. We suggest, as you did, to bring food and entertainment.
