Enjoy a full day with giant pandas, one of the most adorable creatures on earth. Participating in the panda volunteer program allows you to work with the scientists and experts to learn the knowledge of pandas. Meanwhile, you need to help clean pandas’ house, prepare the food, and of course observe pandas closely, when they are having food, sleeping or some naughty ones are playing on the grass or in the tree.

Discover the cultural riches of Chengdu. Join the locals to have a relaxing time at Chengdu Renmin Park, where you can listen to traditional folk music, watch performances of diabolo and Sichuan Opera, enjoy the ear cleaning service, and sample local tea at quaint teahouse.

Then have a brisk stroll along Wide and Narrow Alley, the Chengdu style hutongs dating to 18th Century, with traditional courtyards of black tiles and grey brick walls.

Afterwards, visit Wenshu Monastery, Chengdu’s best-preserved temple, initially built in the 7th Century. It is a treasure house of Buddhist relics, and also a graceful garden.

Fly to Shanghai, a bustling, energetic international metropolis, where cultural traditions can still be found.

Then tour Yu Garden, a fine example of Jiangnan classical garden with fascinating artificial landscape consisting of pavilion, corridor, rockery, wood carving… And walk the old streets of Yuyuan Market, where the traditional Chinese-style architectures remind people of its ancient traditions.

Later learn from your guide about Shanghai’s colonial culture when on the Bund, where you can see an array of 19th Century colonial architectures. Across the Huangpu River is the Lujiazui Financial District. Ascend Shanghai World Financial Center, one of the highest buildings in the district, for glitzy city view of Shanghai.
