Impression West Lake

Impression West Lake is an outdoor musical directed by the world-famous Director Zhang Yimou. Like the Impression Liu Sanjie and Impression Lijiang, Impression West Lake is also famous for its dreamlike show and fantastic elegance. This show is performed in a scenic area on the West Lake with hills, bridges and pavilions as the background. It features the local culture and the unique beauty of West Lake of Hangzhou.

With the profound history, culture, and the beautiful natural landscape of West Lake, this performance shows the folklores and myths of Hangzhou in a vivid way. By adding artificial rain through high-technology, the show reflects the grace of West Lake.

The venue of Impression West Lake Performance locates at Yuehu Lake. The auditorium is at the south of Yuehu Lake Tower where a stand with the retractable and moveable end are located. The venue can also seat an audience of 1,800.
