Located in the southwestern point of Avenida da Amizade, the South Bay District, Hotel Lisboa Macau is a comprehensive hotel that has a high reputation in Southeast Asia. Its compelling casinos have been attracting visitors who are willing to come across the ocean to gamble.

Completed and opened on June 11, 1970, the hotel was the largest and the first five-star hotel in Macau. The main buildings and the attached buildings by both of its sides are all majestic and spectacular.  Its main building stands like a peacock, but when looked as whole with its left attached building, it appears more like a sailing boat.

The hotel, with its front door facing the Nobre de Carvalho Bridge (formerly known as the Macau-Taipa Bridge), is owned by the Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau, S.A. and jointly operated with the Fulida International Hotel Group. It is equipped with four casinos and a slot casino which are operated and managed by the Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. There are many shops inside the hotel, including a variety of restaurants, bakeries, banks, pawnshops, change bureaus, jewelry shops, betting centers, laundries and bathrooms.

There are many casinos in nearby places, such as Wynn Macau, Jinbi Casino and Grand Lisboa Macau. Moreover, there are flyovers and pedestrian tunnels connecting entertainment facilities.
