9 Days Panda, Mt. Qingcheng, Leshan & Emei, Jiuzhaigou Valley
Bifeng Gorge is not only ideal for you to observe giant pandas, but also a paradise for glimpsing the enticing landscape. It consists of two major valleys, the left one extending 7 kilometers and the right one 6 kilometers. The two valleys form a V-shaped area that is an ideal summer resort for holiday relaxation. Among rising peaks in the valley, ten are capped with snow all year round. The lowest part of the valley is dotted with 114 lakes of different sizes, 17 waterfalls, 5 calcium ponds, 47 springs and 11 torrents. The beauty of the landscape is beyond imagination. During you stay in Sichuan you’ll also have a chance to visit Emei Mountain. It is known as one of the four most famous Buddhist Mountains in China and was placed on the list of the world natural and cultural heritage sites with Leshan Giant Buddha in 1996.

Customizable Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Chengdu arrival
Upon arrival in Chengdu, you’ll meet your personal guide and driver at the arrival hall and head for the hotel. You’ll have a chance to walk along Jinli Ancient Street and try some delicious local snacks.

Day 2 Bifengxia Valley Scenic Area
Today you’ll embark on a full day trip to Bifengxia Valley Scenic Area to see pandas at up close. The ride takes about two hours. There are more than 80 pandas living in the valley, which gives you a chance to hold a panda for pictures at an additional cost. Bifeng Valley also boasts of luxurious vegetation, steep valleys and numerous waterfalls. Lunch is later arranged in a scenic area.

Day 3 Mt. Qingcheng, Dujiangyan
After waking you’ll ride about 1.5 hours to visit Mt. Qingcheng. It is one of the four Taoist mountains in China and is divided into front mountain and back mountain. Front mountain is mainly composed of Taoist palaces and halls while back mountain is mostly natural landscapes. Visiting the front mountain includes a boat cruise on Yuecheng Lake. What you’re able to do is dependent on your interest. After lunch you’ll continue to the ancient irrigation system, known as Dujiangyan. Dujiangyan was first built in Qin Dynasty (256 BC) by local officer Li Bing and his son. It is the greatest and oldest of its kind remaining in the world. The special design of Yuzui water-dividing Dike, the Feishayan Spillway and the Baopingkou Water Inlet promises function as flood control, irrigation and shipping.

Day 4 Jiuzhaigou Valley
Get up early to catch a flight to Jiuzhaigou Scenic and Historic Interest Area. At arrival, your personal guide and driver will meet and greet you. Together, you will ride for two hours along the bumpy roads nearby Snow Mountain Ridge (4007m, highest point on the way) towards Huanglong Scenic Area. The Huanlong Scenic area has various colorful ponds formed by calcite deposits. Other highlights of the area include dense forests, snow peaks, valleys and waterfalls. After, you’ll continue riding for about an hour to Jiuzhaigou Valley.

Day 5 Jiuzhaigou Valley
Upon awaking a walking tour is given in Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic and Historic Interest Area. The famed Jiuzhaigou Valley, also called Fairyland, is composed of Shuzheng valley, Rize valley and The Zaru Valley (Tibetan rural scenery). Shuttle bus rides are served in the Valley. Lunch is later arranged in the Valley.

Day 6 Jiuzhaigou Valley
You’ll spend the morning exploring the Valley. Lunch is provided and followed by a two-hour drive to the airport. Once you reach the airport you can catch a flight back to Chengdu. Your guide and driver in Chengdu will escort you back to the hotel.

Day 7 Leshan Giant Buddha, Mt. Emei
You’ll ride for about two hours to Leshan to visit the largest rock carving Buddha in the world called Leshan Giant Buddha. The Buddha stands at the center of three rivers easing the river current to prevent floods. The Buddha has a height of 71 meters. After lunch at a local fine restaurant, you’ll ride for an hour to Mt. Emei for the night.

Day 8 Mt. Emei
Take the shared shuttle bus for about an hour to Wannian Temple. The cable car carries you up for a hike to the temple where you will see the tooth relic of Buddha, Pattra-leaf Scripture and Imperial Stamp in Wish-making Building. An hour hike to Qingyin Pavilion towards Wuxiangang parking lot to see wild monkeys. Take the shuttle bus down for lunch then visit Baoguo Temple before heading back to Chengdu city.

Day 9 Chengdu departure
Your guide and driver will escort you to the airport for your next destination.
