Lingering Garden

After breakfast, set out for an exciting tour today, starting from Lingering Garden, one of the Four Greatest Gardens in China and well known for its exquisite architectural layout and many strange stones. Then move on to feel the unique historic and cultural features of Suzhou at Panmen Scenic Area.

In the afternoon, you will have a special experience, the rickshaw tour around Suzhou. Siting on the rickshaw through the old streets & small Hutongs in Suzhou, you will see the open market and local people's life and get to know more about Suzhou.

At the end of the day, you will stroll at Pingjiang Road, which retains the architectural style of ancient times. You can see all kinds of shops over here, Suzhou traditional snacks, toys, old collections, traditional restaurants and beverage shops.

Optional evening activity: Night Show in the Master of Nets Garden (There are 8 night shows from 19:30 to 22:00 in the Master of Nets Garden. Each show will last for about 10 minutes and the guests can enjoy the shows whenever they join in. Actors and actress in ancient theatrical costumes of generous local styles play the local folk music and folk dancing for the guests in the halls or pavilions, representing a fantastic scene of "One show in one hall, shows changing while guests changing".)

Pingjiang Road

Begin with Suzhou Museum today, which combines the architectural style of the Suzhou traditional gardens and a more modern vision. The main collections are ancient paintings, calligraphy, porcelain, crafts, unearthed cultural relics and revolutionary cultural relics.

Afterwards, go on to Humble Administrator’s Garden, the largest garden in Suzhou. The whole garden features in water scenery, green hills, delicate pavilions and beautiful flowers and trees.

The day tour ends with a cruise in Grand Canal in Suzhou. It takes about 40 minutes and offers a view of China's typical waterside residences and arched stone bridges along the riverside.
