Visit the Xiantong Temple, the main temple of the Wutai Mountain Buddhist complex, which is considered one of the most important Buddhist temples in China. After lunch, visit the Pusading Temple, one of the oldest temples on the mountain. Return to Taiyuan in the evening.

Day 3: Taiyuan Food Tour, Start your day by trying the famous Shanxi noodles, a staple food in the region. Visit the local food market to sample the local specialties, such as steamed buns, candied fruit, and roast mutton. Take a cooking class to learn how to make Shanxi-style dumplings. In the afternoon, visit a traditional tea house and enjoy a cup of tea and some light snacks. End your day with a farewell dinner featuring traditional Shanxi dishes.
