Fantastic 13-day tour to Hong Kong, Guilin, Yangshuo, Xian and Beijing

Grace organized an unforgettable visit that not only included the major sights but also gave us a personalized insider view of the marvels of China. Highlights included the Terra Cotta warriors of Xian, but also the less well-known calm of the Muslim quarter, the tranquil beauty of the lovely Li River and Yangshuo, the ancient town of Daxu in Guilin, and the bustle of Beijing with the majesty of the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. All accommodations and transport by cars, boats, airplanes and the Bullet train were excellent, but what made the trip truly memorable was getting to know our knowledgeable, friendly and resourceful guides, with special thanks to Linda, Joy and Eva. Congratulations and thanks to all.

Now that we have been home for a while we are still marveling at the wonderful tour you, Linda, Joy and Eva put together for Tom and me.

We very much appreciate how thoughtfully and carefully you planned such a beautiful and exciting combination of cultural, natural and historical treasures and the smooth transitions among all the varied activities. The guides and drivers were unfailingly prompt, friendly, flexible and knowledgeable, and getting to know them was one of the unexpected pleasures of the trip. We also loved the visit to our hosts in the dumpling-making excursion, as well as the little side-trip to the ancient town of Daxu, where an older gentleman gave us a glimpse of an old traditional way of life.
