2-Day Itinerary for Guangzhou and Foshan

Day 1: Explore Guangzhou (Capital City of Guangdong)

Arrive in Guangzhou and check into your hotel, Visit the iconic Canton Tower one of the tallest towers in the world. It’s an exciting experience for kids with the observation deck offering panoramic views of Guangzhou. The kids will enjoy the glass skywalk. Explore the Chen Clan Academy, is an academic temple in Guangzhou, and a former clan school that now serves as a Guangdong Folk Art Museum.

Spend the late afternoon in Yuexiu Park, which is perfect for families. There are wide open spaces for kids to play, visit cultural landmarks like the Five Rams Statue and Zhenhai Tower.

Walk through the bustling Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street for shopping and food, End the day with a traditional Cantonese dinner.

Day 2: Visit Foshan (Cultural and Historical Highlights)

It takes about 40ms driver to Foshan,is the hometown of the famous martial artist Bruce Lee. Start your day with visit Nanfeng Ancient Kiln, one of the oldest working kilns in China, where you can learn about Foshan’s history in ceramics and watch traditional pottery being made. Explore the Foshan Folk Art Research Institute to see local crafts and arts.

After lunch, visit The Ancestral Temple (Zu Miao) which is another important landmark and a distinctive local temple architecture. The Foshan Ancestral Temple includes a complex of historical buildings, such as the Ancestral Temple, the Confucius Temple, the Huang Feihong Memorial Hall, and the Ip Man Museum, among other attractions.

For young people, if you have extra time and energy, head to Xiqiao Mountain, the mountain has beautiful nature trails, perfect for a hike.

2-Day itinerary for Guangzhou and Shenzhen

Day 1: Guangzhou – City Adventure

Start your adventure by visiting the Canton Tower, one of the tallest towers in China. head to Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, a masterpiece of Cantonese architecture. In the evening, head to the Pearl River for a scenic night cruise.

Day 2: Shenzhen

Visit Splendid China Folk Village, which features miniature replicas of China’s most iconic landmarks like the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, and the Terracotta Warriors, and Folk Culture Village, which offers a deep dive into China’s 56 ethnic groups, their traditional costumes, music, and dances. You can have a chance to see how various minority groups live, work, and celebrate their festivals.

Head to Dameisha Beach, relax by the beach and enjoy the sea breeze.

2-Day itinerary for Zhongshan and Zhuhai

Day 1: Zhongshan

It takes about 1.5 from Guangzhou to Zhongshan, arrive in Zhogshan, head to the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the founding father of the Republic of Chian.

In the afternoon, visit Zhongshan Park, a lovely place for a stroll. It is a large park with lush greenery, beautiful lakes. Explore the Shiqi Old Street.

Day 2: Zhuhai

It is about 1hour drive from Zhongshan to Zhuhai, start your day visiting the iconic Zhuhai Fisher Girl Statue, is a symbol of the city and offers beautiful views of the coastline. Take a walk along Lover’s Road.

After lunch, if you are traveling with kids, you may consider visiting Chime long Ocean Kingdom, one of the largest aquariums in the world.

If you are seniors, consider to visit Zhuhai Museum for a cultural experience.

2-Day itinerary for Jiangmen, and Yangjiang

Day 1: Guangzhou to Jiangmen

In the morning,arrive in Guangzhou, depart from Guangzhou to Jiangmen (Approx. 1.5-2 hours), Head to Kaiping, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its Kaiping Diaolou(Watchtowers). The Kaiping Watchtowers originated in the mid-to-late Ming Dynasty and were built by overseas Chinese. The Diaolou are a fascinating mix of traditional Chinese architecture and Western influences. These multi-story tower-like structures served as a combination of defense, disaster prevention, and residential purposes.

In the afternoon, visit Chikan Ancient Town, one of the oldest towns in Jiangmen. Walk around the old streets and explore the well-preserved historical architecture, many of which reflect the cultural fusion between China and the West.

Day 2: Explore Yangjiang

Yangjiang (approximately 2 hours from Jiangmen), is known for its coastal beauty, beaches and natural parks.Visit the Hailing Island, a popular tourist destination known for its beaches, scenic coastline, and hiking trails.visit Yangjiang’s Silver Beach, a clean, quiet, and picturesque spot perfect for a walk along the shore or a swim. It's a perfect place for nature lovers.Visit the Yangjiang Museum to learn the region’s history.

Ending you tip and depart with wonderful memories in the evening.

2-Day itinerary for Guangzhou-Qingyuan

Day 1: Guangzhou-Qingyuan

Start your day with a visit to the Guangzhou Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. It is an academic temple in Guangzhou, and a former clan school that now serves as a Guangdong Folk Art Museum. visit Yuexiu Park, which is home to the famous Five Rams Statue, a symbol of Guangzhou.

In the afternoon, travel to Qingyuan (about 1.5 hours drive from Guangzhou). Visit Baojing Palace in Qingyuan, which is covers an area of 12 square kilometers and the largest limestone karst cave in Guangdong. Have dinner in Qingyuan, trying local specialties like Qingyuan Chicken. (famous for its tenderness and unique flavor)

Day 2: Qingyuan-Guangzhou

Visit Gulong Canyon, known for its dramatic karst landscape and thrilling Glass Bridge.

In the afternoon, Visit Xifeng Forest and Thousand Army peak Forest. It is famous for its striking karst landscapes, clear waters and lush greenery.

2-Day itinerary for Zhao Qing and Yun Fu

Day 1: Zhao Qing

Arrive in Zhaoqing. Visit the Seven Star Crags, one of the most famous natural attractions in the region, beautiful limestone formations and tranquil lakes. You can take a boat tour or walk along the cliffs to enjoy the unique rock formations and stunning views.

Explore Zhao Qing’s Old Town, this charming part of the city showcases traditional Cantonese architecture, with ancient temples, local markets, and shops selling handicrafts, tea, and souvenirs. Visit Chenghuang Temple to learn about the city’s cultural heritage.

Day 2: Yun Fu’s Natural Beauty and Culture

Head to Yun Fu (around 1.5 hours from Zhaoqing), Visit the Hometown of the Sixth Patriarch in Xuwen County to learn about Huineng and his influence on Chan Buddhism. Admire Guo'en Temple, one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Yun Fu.

In the afternoon, head to Panlong Cave, one of the most famous cave systems in Yun Fu, the cave has three levels, each offering a unique and distinctive cave landscape to explore.
