Day 6: Huizhou – Nature & Relaxation

Start the day by visiting West Lake, one of the most famous scenic areas in Huizhou. You can take a relaxing boat ride on the lake, enjoy the picturesque gardens, and walk across charming bridges. Spend your final afternoon at the beach, where kids can play in the sand and water, while parents relax and enjoy the coastal views.

Day 7: Huizhou

Explore Dongpo Garden, a historical site that combines beautiful gardens and cultural heritage. Learn about the famous Song Dynasty poet Su Dongpo, who was once a governor here.

Day 1: Guangzhou – Arrival

Day 3: Foshan – Culture and Leisure

Travel to Foshan and visit the Ancestral Temple, an ancient site dedicated to the city’s patron deity, Wong Fei-hung. Explore Nanfeng Ancient Kiln, an ancient ceramic kiln site in Foshan, where you can observe traditional pottery making. It’s a peaceful, cultural experience.

Day 4: Foshan - Cultural Immersion

In the morning, visit Qinghui Garden, a classic Lingnan-style garden in Foshan.

Visit Xiqiao Mountain, an ancient dormant volcano with rich natural and cultural landscapes. You can choose to take the cable car to the top and enjoy the beautiful panoramic views from the summit.

Day 5: Jiangmen – Nature and History

Head to Kaiping to visit the famous Diaolou, traditional fortified multi-story towers built by overseas Chinese immigrants. The Kaiping Diaolou and Villages are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a great place to explore Hakka architecture. After visiting the Diaolou, head to Chikan Ancient Town. The town is known for its old buildings and historic charm.

Day 6: Jiangmen-Yangjiang

In the morning, take a stroll along 33rd Streed, a historic street with colonial-style buildings.

In the afternoon, visit Yangjiang (approximately 2 hours from Jiangmen).

Day 7: Yangjiang

Yangjiang is known for its coastal beauty, beaches and natural parks. Visit the Hailing Island, a popular tourist destination known for its beaches, scenic coastline, and hiking trails.visit Yangjiang’s Silver Beach, a clean, quiet, and picturesque spot perfect for a walk along the shore or a swim. It's a perfect place for nature lovers.Visit the Yangjiang Museum to learn the region’s history.

Day 1: Guangzhou – City Adventure

In the morning, head to the Tianlu Mountain, is known for its beautiful natural landscapes, Tianlu waterfall, temple and rich biodiversity. (2-3 hours for hiking and exploration)

In the afternoon, head to Longshan Hot Springs in Yunfu, a popular natural hot spring resort known for its therapeutic benefits and serene environment.

Day 6: Zhaoqing – Natural Wonders and Scenic Beauty

Head to Seven Star Crags, a stunning karst landscape with limestone peaks, caves, and clear lakes. Visit the Dragon Mother Temple, dedicated to the Dragon Mother, a significant local deity. Explore the ancient city wall, built during the Song Dynasty, offering stunning views of the surrounding area and a step back in history.

Day 7: Qingyuan

Explore Xifeng Forest and the Qianjun Peak Forest in Yingde, where you can admire the stunning karst landscape, with lush mountains and clear waters. Visit Pengjia Ancestral Hall, a fortress-like building constructed during the Qing Dynasty. The hall was designed to defend against bandits, making it a stronghold that is easy to defend but hard to attack.

Visit Chen Cihuang's Former Residence, a well-preserved historical building, the home of "the richest man in Chaozhou and Shantou", a navigator/trader who lived 1843–1921. stroll through Shantou Small Park, this park is a symbol of Shantou and offers a glimpse into the city's history and culture.

Day 4: Guangzhou

Visit this famous cultural landmark in Guangzhou, known for its exquisite Cantonese architecture, wood carvings, and decorative arts. Explore the Cantonese Opera Museum to learn about one of China's most famous regional opera styles.

Take a scenic night cruise on the Pearl River to enjoy the stunning skyline of Guangzhou, with its illuminated buildings and bridges.

Day 5: Foshan – Martial Arts & Cultural Heritage

Vist Foshan Ancestral Temple, learn about the history of Wong Fei-hung, the famous martial artist, and the role Foshan played in the development of martial arts.

Take a kung fu class with a local master to better understand the spirit of Southern martial arts. This is a unique opportunity for the whole family to engage with local culture.

Day 6: Foshan

Visit the Foshan Museum, which offers exhibitions on the region’s history, including its long-standing craftsmanship in ceramics, metalwork, and architecture.

Visit Nanfeng Ancient Kiln, located in Shiwan Pottery Village, known for its rich pottery-making tradition. Watch craftsmen at work and explore the pottery galleries.

Day 7: Guangzhou

Visit Yuexiu Park, Guangzhou’s largest park, and climb Zhenhai Tower for panoramic views of the city. The park also has historical sites, including The Five Rams Sculpture, the symbol of Guangzhou.

Enjoy a relaxing half-day of shopping and leisure at Shangxiangjiu Pedestrian Street.
