4-Day Itinerary for Guangzhou and Foshan

Day 1: Explore Guangzhou’s History and Culture

Arrive in Guangzhou,visit the iconic Canton Tower, one of the tallest structures in China. Admire Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, a remarkable example of traditional Cantonese architecture.

Head to Yuexiu Park, the largest park in downtown Guangzhou. The park is home to the Five Rams Sculpture, which is a symbol of the city, and Zhenhai Tower.

Day 2: Modern Guangzhou and Local Markets

Begin your day with a visit to Shamian Island, a peaceful area with colonial-era buildings. Head to Huacheng Square, Guangzhou’s newest urban development, featuring modern architecture, museums, and green spaces.Take a gastronomic adventure at Shangxiangjiu Pedestrian Street.

Day 3: Day Trip to Foshan

Take a short trip to Foshan, which is about 1 hour from Guangzhou by metro or car. Start your day by visiting the Nanfeng Ancient Kiln, one of the oldest working kilns in China, where you can learn about Foshan’s history in ceramics and watch traditional pottery being made.

Head to the Foshan Ancestral Temple, a Buddhist temple dedicated to the Venerable Father of the city's early culture.Learn kung fu with a local master to get to know Southern martial arts.

Day 4: Foshan and West Hill (Xiqiao Mountain)

Visit Xiqiao Mountain in Foshan, a famous Buddhist Mountain with a rich cultural heritage. Visit Qinghui Garden, a classic Lingnan-style garden in Foshan.

Day 1: Explore Zhaoqing - Natural Beauty and Historical Sites

Admire the Zhaoqing Ancient City Wall, which dates back to the song Dynasty.

Explore Dinghu Mountain, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and one of the most famous natural attractions in Zhaoqing.

Day 2: Zhaoqing Historical Sites and Cultural Exploration

Visit Seven Star Crags, is the most famous scenic spot in Zhaoqing. Take a boat tour to get a closer look at the limestone peaks, caves, and islands in the lake.

Visit the Longmu Temple, a well-known ancient temple dedicated to the Dragon Mother, a deity worshiped in southern Chian.

Day 3: Yunfu - Natural Wonders

Head to Panlong Cave, a karst cave featuring breathtaking stalactites and stalagmites. Adventure Tianlu Mountain, a scenic area in Yunfu known for its breathtaking views and peaceful environment.

Day 4: Exploring Buddhist culture in Yunfu

Begin your day with a visit to the Hometown of the Sixth Patriarch (also known as Huiyang), the birthplace of Huineng, the Sixth Patriarch of Chan Buddhism. head to Guo'en Temple, one of the most important Buddhist temples in Huizhou.

End your day with a visit to Dongjie (East Street), a famous pedestrian street in the heart of Huizhou. This historic street is a great place to experience local culture, enjoy shopping, and try out some local snacks.

4-Day itinerary for Guangzhou-Qingyuan

Day 1: Guangzhou – Iconic Landmarks and Scenic Night Cruise

In the morning, start with the Canton Tower, one of the tallest towers in China. Visit the Five Rams Statue, is a famous symbol of Guangzhou, representing the city's name ("Guangzhou" means "City of Rams" in Chinese).

In the afternoon, visit the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, a masterpiece of Cantonese architecture.

Take a Pearl River Night Cruise in the evening.

Day 2: Guangzhou to Qingyuan Oujia Terraces

Leave Guangzhou early in the morning and drive for about 2.5 to 3 hours to reach the Oujia Terraces in Qingyuan, a famous terraced field area known for its stunning landscapes, especially during the planting and harvest seasons. Visit nearby traditional Yao enthnic village to get a sense of local life and architecture.

Day 3: Qingyuan – Underground River Adventure

In the morning, Visit Lianzhou Underground River, this underground river runs through impressive limestone caves, offering a unique boat tour experience.

Explore Lianzhou Ancient Town, visit the Longtan Waterfall.

Day 4: Guangzhou

Drive back to Guangzhou (approximately 3 hours from Lianzhou), start your final day in Guangzhou by visiting the South China Botanical Garden. The garden is home to a diverse range of plant species, with various themed areas, such as tropical plants, desert plants, and a beautiful orchid garden.

Day 1: Guangzhou

Arrive in Guangzhou and check into your hotel, Visit the iconic Canton Tower for panoramic views of the city, Explore the Chen Clan Academy, a former clan school that now serves as a museum, walk through the bustling Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street for shopping and food, End the day with a traditional Cantonese dinner.

Day 2: Guangzhou to Foshan

4-Day itinerary for Guangzhou, Jiangmen, and Yangjiang

Day 1: Explore Guangzhou’s Iconic Attractions

Arrive in Guangzhou, start your day with a visit to the Canton Tower, the tallest structure in Guangzhou. After visiting the Canton Tower, head to Yuexiu Park, explore the Five Rams Statue, which is a symbol of the city.

In the afternoon, visit the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, a historic building showcasing Cantonese architecture.

Day 2: Day Trip to Jiangmen - Cultural and Historical Experience

Driving to Jiangmen, a 1.5 to 2-hour journey from Guangzhou. Jiangmen is known for its traditional culture, Hakka architecture, and scenic spots.

Head to Kaiping to visit the famous Diaolou, traditional fortified multi-story towers built by overseas Chinese immigrants. The Kaiping Diaolou and Villages are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a great place to explore Hakka architecture. After visiting the Diaolou, head to Chikan Ancient Town. The town is known for its old buildings and historic charm.

Day 3: Yangjiang - Beaches and Scenic Nature

Yangjiang (approximately 2 hours from Jiangmen), is known for its coastal beauty, beaches and natural parks.

Visit the Hailing Island, a popular tourist destination known for its beaches, scenic coastline, and hiking trails. visit Yangjiang’s Silver Beach, a clean, quiet, and picturesque spot perfect for a walk along the shore or a swim. It's a perfect place for nature lovers.

Day 4: Explore Lingxiao Cave

Visit Lingxiao Cave which is a unique natural attraction, featuring various stalactites and stalagmites in different shapes. It is ideal for hiking and photography. The cave’s walking paths and viewing platforms offer excellent opportunities to enjoy the stunning landscape. Admire the Maritime Silk Road Museum showcases the excavation, preservation, and research of the Southern Sea No. 1 (Nanhai I), a Song Dynasty shipwreck and its relics. It is a National First-Class Museum.

In the afternoon, Visit the Zhuhai Fisher Girl Statue, is iconic statue symbol of Zhuhai, stroll along the Zhuhai Lover’s Road, the road offer stunning views of the sea and surrounding islands.

Day 4: Zhuhai-Morden Attractions and Relaxation

In the morning, Visit Tangjiabay Ancient Town, (it typically takes around 20 to 30 minutes by car to reach the town.) is known for its traditional architecture and old-style streets, providing a glimpse of Zhuhai’s cultureal and historical heritage.

In the afternoon, explore Hengqin island, visit Ocean Spring Resort and Zhuhai Museum, the exhibits are interactive and showcase local culture, art, and heritage.
